Thanks, Michele. The name was chosen as a sarcastic response to hearing people who often use the concept of anger to control or dismiss deaf people's responses. I did not want to discuss this within the essay as I thought it would detract from the point, but I wanted to subtly remind defensive hearing readers that if their first inclination was to accuse us of anger, that it would not work. It's beyond the point. And the author isn't anonymous :)
